The workpiece locator detector detects that the object has moved close to the center of the camera system's field of view and sends a triggering pulse to the image acquisition section. The image acquisition section then sends start pulses to the camera and lighting system according to a pre-set program and delay. The camera stops scanning, starts a new frame scan, or waits for the start pulse and begins scanning after receiving it. Before starting a new frame scan, the camera opens the exposure mechanism, with the exposure time being set beforehand. Another start pulse turns on the lighting system, with its activation time matching the camera's exposure time. After the camera has been exposed, it officially begins scanning and outputting one frame of the image. The image acquisition section receives the analog video signal and converts it into digital form through A/D, or directly receives the camera's digital video data. The digitized image is stored in memory by the image acquisition section, and the processor performs processing, analysis, and recognition to obtain measurement results or logic control values. The processing results control the action of the pipeline, perform positioning, and correct motion errors. This process aims to achieve accurate and efficient workpiece locating and detection to improve production efficiency while reducing errors.
