1. Installation location: Indoors, free from water, dust and corrosive gases, with good ventilation.
2. How to install: Vertically, with good ventilation.
3. Install on a metal baseplate.
4. If possible, please install an additional ventilation fan in the control cabinet.
5. If the servo drive is to be used with electric welding machines, discharge equipment, and other high-frequency interference devices, please use an isolation transformer and an active filter to prevent interference.
6. Install the servo drive in a dry and well-ventilated place.
7. Avoid as much as possible exposure to vibration or impact.
8. Take every possible measure to prevent metal dust and iron scraps from entering the drive.
9. When installing, make sure that the servo drive is secure and not easily loosened or dislodged.
10. Use insulated wiring terminals.
11. After disconnecting the power supply, wait for at least 10 seconds before resuming power to the servo drive. Frequent on-off switching can damage the drive.
12. Do not touch the wiring terminals of the servo drive directly with your hands within 1 minute of disconnecting the power supply, as there is a risk of electric shock.
13. When installing multiple drives in one cabinet, it is recommended to use forced air cooling to ensure good heat dissipation and avoid electromagnetic interference.
It is important to ensure the proper installation of the servo drive to ensure its optimal performance and longevity. Following these guidelines will help prevent issues such as interference, overheating, and damage to the drive. By taking proactive measures, operators can ensure smooth operations and avoid any negative impact on their production.
