Structure of permanent magnet synchronous servo motor

The permanent magnet synchronous servo motor is developed from a wound synchronous motor. It replaces the electric excitation with a permanent magnet,Servo Motor thereby eliminating the excitation coil, slip ring and brush. The stator current is basically the same as the wound synchronous motor. The input is symmetrical sinusoidal alternating current, so it is called AC permanent magnet synchronous servo motor.

Permanent magnet synchronous servo motor is composed of stator and rotor. The stator mainly includes an armature core and three-phase (or multi-phase) symmetrical armature windings. The windings are embedded in the slots of the core; the rotor is mainly composed of permanent magnets, Servo Motor magnetic yokes and rotating shafts. The permanent magnet is attached to the magnetic yoke, and the magnetic yoke is cylindrical and sleeved on the rotating shaft; when the diameter of the rotor is small, the permanent magnet can be directly attached to the magnetic conductive shaft.

The rotor is coaxially connected with a position and speed sensor for detecting the relative position of the rotor magnetic pole relative to the stator winding and the rotor speed. When a symmetrical three-phase current passes through the armature winding of a permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, the stator generates a rotating magnetic field that moves at a synchronous speed.
