Axis: The ability to pick up a target and move it in a straight line
Two axes: Can pick up an object, lift it, move it horizontally slowly straight, and set it or appear -- on an X/Y plane -- without changing the direction of the target
Triaxial: The ability to pick up an object, lift it, move it horizontally slowly and straight, and set or appear it -- within reach of the manipulator anywhere in X, Y, Z space -- without changing the direction of the target
Quad axis: Ability to pick up an object, lift it, move it horizontally, and set or appear it - in X, Y, Z space - change the direction of the object along one axis (e.g. yaw)
Five axes: Ability to pick up a target, lift it, move it horizontally, and set it - in X, Y, and Z space - to change the direction of the target along two axes (yaw and variable OARS for example)
Six axes: The ability to pick up a target, lift it, move it horizontally, and set it -- in X, Y, and Z Spaces -- to change the direction of the target along three axes (yaw, pitch, and roll).
Seven axis: the movement ability of the six-axis joint robot, followed by the linear direction of the ability (generally horizontal movement, from one place to another along the trajectory of the mobile manipulator)
