First, the difference between CNC and PLC:
1, different uses:
CNC computer numerical control is used to use a dedicated storage program computer to perform some or all of the basic digital control functions of the NC system. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a digital computing controller for automated control that can load control instructions into memory for storage and execution at any time.
2, the composition is different:
CNC computer numerical control uses a special computer and equipped with interface circuit, to achieve the control of the movement of multiple CNC equipment, including hardware and software two parts. Programmable controller consists of CPU, instruction and data memory, input/output interface, power supply, digital analog conversion and other functional units.
