Servo Drives, also known as "servo controller" and "servo amplifier", is a controller used to control servo motors. Its role is similar to that of frequency converters acting on common AC motors. It is a part of servo systems and mainly used in high-precision positioning systems. Generally, the servo motor is controlled by position, speed and torque in three ways to achieve high-precision positioning of the transmission system, which is the high-end product of transmission technology at present. So how to install the servo drive correctly? Today, the editor of ADTECH servo drive manufacturer will introduce the installation steps of servo drive to you. The specific methods are as follows:

如何正确安装伺服驱动器

1, installation location: indoor, no water, no dust, no corrosive gas, good ventilation;

2, how to install: vertical installation, good ventilation;

3, install on the metal bottom plate;

4. If possible, please install another ventilation fan in the control box;

5, the driver and welding machine, discharge processing equipment use the same power supply, or high frequency interference equipment near the driver, please use isolation transformer and active filter;

6. Please install the servo drive in a dry and well-ventilated place;

7, please try to avoid vibration or impact;

8. Do everything possible to prevent metal dust and iron filings from entering the drive;

9. When installing, please confirm that the drive is fixed and not easy to loosen and fall off;

10, wiring terminals must be used with insulation protection;

11. After disconnecting the driver power supply, the driver must be energized again at an interval of 10 seconds, otherwise frequent power on and off will cause damage to the driver;

12. Within 1 minute after disconnecting the power supply of the driver, do not touch the wiring terminals of the driver directly with your hands, otherwise there will be a risk of electric shock!

13. When multiple drives are installed in a chassis, it is recommended to use forced air cooling in the chassis to ensure good heat dissipation and avoid electromagnetic interference between the servo drives.
