Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Design Innovation Center, Design Leading Demonstration Enterprise Award and 2023 Shanghai Design Capital Construction Work Ventilation meeting was held in the Shanghai World Expo Museum. The meeting awarded 57 municipal design innovation centers and 13 municipal design leading demonstration enterprises newly identified in 2022, such as the design Innovation Center of Shanghai STEP Electric Co., LTD.
The municipal design innovation center is established by the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Information Technology in accordance with the requirements of the national industrial design center accreditation and the key work arrangement of Shanghai to promote the construction of "Design Capital" after layers of selection and strict evaluation. It is the recognition of design institutions with good design innovation foundation, strong service ability, complete team construction, outstanding business performance, and obvious scale and competitive advantages in the industry. It aims to further cultivate the market main body of Shanghai design industry, improve the supply level of design services, and highlight the enabling and driving role of design innovation.
This formal award shows that STEP's design innovation ability in key core links has been greatly improved and highly recognized. In the future, STEP will take the municipal design innovation center as the position, increase investment in design innovation, improve research and development facilities and experimental equipment, gather excellent design talents, continuously optimize independent business product lines and solutions, and help industrial upgrading and transformation. It also adds a strength to the "Shanghai Design Capital".
