On March 21-22, 2023, the preliminary examination meeting of National Vocational skill Standard for elevator assembly and commissioning workers was held in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. STEP, as one of the standard development units, participated in the preliminary examination meeting.
The development of national vocational skill standards for elevator assembly and debugging workers aims to provide guidance for the education and training of elevator assembly and debugging practitioners, provide a basis for the evaluation of elevator assembly and debugging skilled talents, and provide a reference for the standards of elevator enterprises.
Since the development of the standard was launched in August 2022, with the joint efforts of all the experts in the editing and reviewing working group, the first draft has been completed and entered the approval stage, which has received high support and attention from the leaders of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and China Elevator Association.
At the first hearing, A total of 16 developers are from China Elevator Association, China Academy of Building Research Co., LTD., Building Mechanization Research Branch, Shanghai STEP Electric Co., LTD., Otis Elevator (China) Co., LTD., Witt Elevator Components (Suzhou) Co., LTD., Tisheng Elevator (China) Co., LTD., Kone Elevator Co., LTD., Xizi Elevator Technology Co., LTD Five experts attended the meeting, and Zhang Lexiang, Secretary General of China Elevator Association, came to guide the work and made an important speech. After a 2-day meeting, the meeting determined the standard consultation draft, which will be widely consulted across the industry.
