On October 8, 2023, the 10th Member Congress of Shanghai Automation Society was held in Shanghai.
Shanghai Automation Society 120 member representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the ninth Vice president of the society. The conference held the appointment ceremony, presented the appointment letters to all the elected Council principals and held the 2022 annual awards ceremony.
Du Chao, member of STEP Elevator Cloud team, won the honorary title of "Excellent Young Scientist of Shanghai Automation Society" in 2022. This award is selected once every two years, and a total of 2 people won this award. Du Chao is currently the manager of the Elevator Cloud Product Management Department. He mainly researches the key technologies and systems of elevator cloud computing and is responsible for related marketing work. He has led or participated in a number of key elevator cloud related projects, and has led the completion of 21 smart supervision docking projects of government platforms including Shanghai. He served as the deputy leader of the Seventh Working Group of the Fifth National Elevator Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC196/WG7), participated in the formulation of 2 national standards for the Internet of Things, authorized 18 invention patents, submitted 1 PCT international patent application, and published 21 papers.
