In February this year, the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission issued the 2021 evaluation results of the National Enterprise Technology Center. STEP National Enterprise Technology Center passed the evaluation with 84.2 points, which significantly improved its ranking compared with the last time, and led the industrial control and robot business companies at the same time.

The National Enterprise Technology Center is a technology R&D and innovation institution jointly recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs and the State Administration of Taxation and led by the National Development and Reform Commission. The National Enterprise Technology Center is the highest level of technology assessment for enterprises in China, and it is evaluated every two years. In 2014, STEP was recognized as a national enterprise technology center for the first time and successfully passed four reviews.

In the evaluation data, 183 patent applications were accepted in that year, including 102 invention patent applications, which were much higher than the evaluation data in 2019, and the proportion of invention patents was further increased. In the past three years, the number of national and industrial standards has reached 7, and the company's leading position and influence in elevator control and industrial robot industry have been continuously consolidated.

In recent years, the company's new product sales revenue has increased steadily, from the last evaluation work of 1.107 billion yuan to 1.458 billion yuan, and the profit margin of new products increased significantly, the profit margin reached 13.1%, compared with the last evaluation work of 5.5% progress is obvious, representing the company's new product profitability significantly improved.
