From October 22nd to 24th, the second vocational skills Competition of Guangdong Province -- Industrial Robot Welding Competition was held in Jiangmen Xinhui Technician College (Gangzhou Campus). The competition attracted 92 welding skills elites from 32 enterprises and schools.

Robot welding is professional and has high technical requirements. The contestants of this competition should be proficient in welding, robot, programming and other aspects of knowledge and practical operation.
In the practical operation skills competition, the participants should complete the assembly and welding of Q235 carbon steel plate and round tube within the specified time. For them, each process of grinding, group, robot programming, welding, cleaning and so on cannot be slack, and the weld size, shape and shape of the final product, safe operation and so on, will become the scoring basis.

According to statistics, during each competition, STEP's professional technicians will respond to technical support services 2-3 times. In addition, 92 contestants were trained in theory and practice in three batches before the competition.
After three days of wonderful competition, the final 34 contestants stood out and won the first, second and third prizes of the staff group and the student group. Zhang Malliang and Wu Zhuobin from Xinhui Technician College won the first prize in the staff group, and Yu Hanxiang from Xinhui Technician College won the first prize in the student group.
